O Edenbridge é uma banda deSymphonic Metal da Áustria, fundada em 1998 por Lanvall(guitarra e teclado), Sabine Edelsbacher (vocal) e Kurt Bednarsky (baixo). Em 2000conseguiram o primeiro contrato, ao assinarem com a gravadoraMassacre Records. Ainda em 2000, lançaram o seu primeiro disco, o ótimoSunrise In Eden. Com o álbum seguinte, Arcana de 2001, o conjunto demonstrou um grande avanço em sua sonoridade. Á partir deste disco, eu passo a considerar a banda uma das únicas dePower Metal com vocal feminino. A definição deste estilo se deve ao peso dado pelo baixo e pela bateria, combinado com o excelente trabalho feito por Lanvall, fazendo grandes duetos de guitarra com teclado. Após o lançamento do terceiro trabalho, o bem conceituado Aphelion (2003), a banda lançou o seu primeiro ao vivo: A Livetime In Eden (2004), disco que apresentou um conjunto ainda jovem, mas com um grande potencial. Conforme os anos vão passando, o Edenbridge vem amadurecendo e a banda vem se desenvolvendo muito, isto se deve principalmente à experiência adquirida pelos seus músicos combinada com a entrada de outros membros como Frank Bindig (baixo) e Sebastian Lanser (bateria).A consagração do conjunto veio em 2008, com o magnífico My Earth Dream, que deu sequência ao também excelente The Grand Design (2006). Para coroar a boa fase demonstrar que a banda se tornou uma das melhores da atualidade, o grupo lançou o segundo disco ao vivo, Live Earth Dream (2009) e que merece ser ouvido. Este último é um disco tão bom, que nem parece tratar-se de uma gravação ao vivo.
